PLink Showcases Agent-Powered NAS at Ecosystem Conference


On the afternoon of June 9, the “Understanding Boundaries, Shaping the Future” Innovation Conference was held in Shenzhen, focusing on the deployment of NVIDIA Jetson platform and OpenClaw in edge AI scenarios. PLink showcased its Agent-Powered NAS at the event, a product that embeds AI inference capability directly within storage devices, enabling NAS to understand, retrieve, and process data.

NAS devices hold the most concentrated data assets for enterprises and individuals. Contracts, proposals, reports, and media files accumulate over time, often reaching several terabytes. However, NAS has traditionally lacked cognitive awareness of its stored content: retrieval depends on filename matching, organization relies on manual effort, and vast amounts of data lie dormant in storage pools, unable to be effectively accessed or utilized.

When the documents accumulated in a NAS reach hundreds or even thousands, the limitations of traditional interaction become increasingly apparent: searching for a contract from last year with a specific client, remembering only the general content but not the filename, makes retrieval nearly impossible; categorizing documents by project requires time-consuming manual sorting; a 50-page report where only the core conclusions are needed still demands page-by-page reading.

To overcome these limitations, NAS needs the ability to understand, retrieve, and process data, transitioning from passive storage to active intelligence.

Jetson-Based Agent NAS

PLink 18F2E1 is built on the Jetson Orin NX core module, delivering up to 157 TOPS of AI compute. It comes pre-installed with OpenClaw agent AI applications and supports 24/7 AI Agent operation. No user-side environment deployment is required, the device is ready to use upon power-on.

The 18F2E1 can operate independently or connect to existing NAS devices. Users with deployed NAS do not need to replace their current equipment. They can simply use their existing NAS as the storage backend, with files remaining on the original device, while AI inference capability is provided by the 18F2E1.

At the exhibition booth, the 18F2E1 paired with AI Agent demonstrated four key features: intelligent file management, full-text semantic search, AI reading assistant, and voice assistant. Using real file data, attendees could directly experience the complete workflow of natural language retrieval, smart archiving, and document summarization.

As the Jetson platform and OpenClaw continue to deepen in edge AI scenarios, more industry applications are accelerating deployment.
